WORK-BASED LEARNING
Work-Based Learning in Mississippi is an attempt to combine the expertise of business/industry and education through a partnership arrangement to produce the type of worker critical to the economic success of our state. This program combines school-based, work-site instruction, and work-site learning experiences, in such a way that the learners see the connection between school and work. As a result, students in post-secondary programs are prepared upon graduation for good jobs in a technical work force.
