**Students MUST contact an advisor of their major prior to creating a MSVCC student profile**
MDCC distance learning courses require a minimum of 2 (two) proctored exams. A proctored exam is a supervised test that students must take at an approved proctoring site.
If this is your first time enrolling in a distance learning course, DON'T OVERLOAD YOURSELF. These courses require a lot of work.
1. Before registering for a distance learning course, you MUST follow the college admission guidelines.

2. All students that enroll in distance learning courses MUST use their MDCC student email. MDCC students are issued a student email upon acceptance.

3. This is priority registration for the Summer 2008 and Fall 2008 semesters.
Summer 2008 distance learning courses begin on June 2, 2008.
Fall 2008 distance learning courses begin on August 25, 2008.
4. Class log-in instructions will be sent to your MDCC student email the weekend prior to the start of your course(s). Students WILL NOT be able to log into their course site until the first day of class.

5. A student may enroll in a maximum of 10 hours during the summer semester and 20 hours during the fall semester. These hours may include campus, distance learning, and/or off-campus courses. Any hours over this limit must be approved by the Vice President of Instruction.

6. Take advantage of our Advisory Service before selecting courses. Current and prospective students should consult with an advisor before attempting to register. This service will assist you in choosing courses that are pertinent to your major.

YOU ARE NOT OFFICIALLY ENROLLED in your distance learning course(s) until you see them listed on your MDCC class schedule. Your MSVCC student profile is different than your MDCC class schedule. Students may check their MDCC class schedule by logging into MY ACCESS.

When entering your MDCC student ID number. (If you have a five (5) digit student ID, you will need to add four (4) zeros to the beginning of your ID number when registering. Example=000051111
Click on the link below to create your MSVCC student profile. You are only allowed to access this registration link 1 (ONE) TIME per semester. Just because the course is listed under your MSVCC student profile, it DOES NOT guarantee your enrollment in the course.
If you need to make changes to your distance learning course(s), email us at vccdlc@msdelta.edu. Include your name, MDCC student ID number, and the course and section number you wish to add and/or drop.
