EDGE Grant

EDGE (Ethics, Discipline, Goals, Employment) is a national research project. It is designed to learn what helps unemployed and low-wage working SNAP recipients increase their earnings and advance in the workplace. The results from the study will measure the effectiveness of the additional services provided through the pilot in the enhanced and basic community college services groups. These results will be used to shape programs in your community and around the country to better help people find employment and increase their earnings.

If you receive SNAP, you have the chance to participate in EDGE, this new program that provides you with:

  • Free education and training
  • Paid employment
  • Transportation benefits
  • Expert guidance
