The goal of the Practical Nursing (PN) Program is to prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the expanding health care needs of the community.  The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to take and pass the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  The program prepares the individual to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse, according to the Mississippi Board of Nursing Nursing Practice Law.
