|James Stricklen, Class of 1966
Induction Class of 2007
Stricklen’s freshman year the Trojans football team went 6-4 and 7-3 his sophomore year. Stricklen was Co-Captain of the 1965 football team. During his freshman basketball season James helped the Trojans finish the regular season as the runner-up in the North Division. As a sophomore Stricklen helped the Trojans men’s tennis team make it to the state playoffs.
James Stricklen went on to play football and tennis for two seasons at Delta State University.
Following college James went to work for Air Products petro-chemicals company where he helped supply oxygen and hydrogen to NASA for space shuttle testing. As of 2007 he lived in Utica and was a manager for Partridge Propane, Inc.
