Football

Marvin played on both sides of the football field as the starting quarterback and starting defensive safety as a freshman and lead the Trojans to 5-3-1. He was the starting safety as a sophomore and split time at quarterback.

Lott went on to Delta State University where he received his B.S. in Science in 1974 and his Masters in Science in 1989.

He was associated with Jimmy Sanders, Inc. of Cleveland as a sales agronomist for the past 23 years. He began his career as a sales representative and branch manager for Helena Chemical and was Vice-President of Marketing for Bayou Seed Company before moving to Jimmy Sanders.

Lott has also been an active supporter of Mississippi Delta Community College and has served as a member of the college’s Development Foundation since 1995.
