In accordance with House Bill No. 1071 from the 2010 legislative session, Mississippi Delta Community College has released its 2012 report card. Access and admission of students to vocational education programs

Mississippi Delta Community College offers a variety of academic programs leading to an Associate in Arts degree. Also offered are numerous career and technical programs leading to either a vocational certificate or Associate in Applied Science degree. Mississippi Delta Community College is an “open-door” admissions institution. Admission requirements for students applying to academic or technical programs: Completed Admission Application; Official High School Transcript or GED Score; Read and understand the Student/Patron Use Agreement; For placement purposes only - if your composite ACT score is less than 16 (12 or better if taken before October 1989), you may be placed in General Education courses; Allied Health and Technical Programs may have additional requirements (contact the department for details). Admission requirements for students applying to career programs: Completed Admission Application; Official High School Transcript; Read and understand the Student/Patron Use Agreement; High School Graduate, or have successfully taken the GED.

Date changed for July board meeting

The Mississippi Delta Community College Board of Trustees' regular meeting date, July 10, 2014, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 1:00pm. The monthly meeting will be held on the Moorhead Campus in the board room of the Stauffer-Wood Administration Building located on Moorhead-Belzoni Rd.

Request for Janitorial Service

Mississippi Delta Community College is requesting the submission of written proposals from contractors who will supply all equipment, supplies, labor, and supervision to perform janitorial services for the Greenville Higher Education Center (GHEC). The Greenville Campus of MDCC is approximately 88,000 sq. ft. Proposals should be written as a 12 month lump sum contract with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2014. Proposals should also contain details of all proposed cleaning procedures, including specifications and practices, based on expertise and accepted janitorial procedures. To be considered, contractors must be insurable, licensed, bonded and qualified in janitorial services and have been in practice for a minimum of two years.
