MDCC has a variety of clubs with something to interest just about everyone.  The following clubs are an active part of campus life at MDCC.

Scholarship Organizations
Several organizations at MDCC offer talent scholarships for those students who wish to audition.  These groups perform throughout the district and across the state helping promote MDCC.  The talent scholarship groups include the following:

The Ambassadors
This show choir singing group performs a variety of tunes from Pop to Broadway along with choreographed dance.  They act as ambassadors for the college performing for schools and various organizations.

The MDCC Singers

The Delta Dancers
This dance troupe travels widely promoting MDCC.  Those selected learn all types of dance from jazz and novelty to tap and modern.

Instrumental Organizations
Scholarships are available to students who have participated in high school bands.   The MDCC "Spirit" Band stresses excellence in the field of instrumental music along with twirlers, flags, and rifles.  Groups within the band include the Concert Band, Jazz Band, and small ensemble groups.

Cheerleaders
This group serves to boast school spirit at a number of events including sporting events, pep rallies and parades.

Delta Connection
This is a Public Relations/Recruitment Team which assists the college by giving tours, recruiting at high schools, and assisting at college functions. Contact the Office of Counseling & Recruiting at 662-246-6454 for more information.

Publications

Student Religious Life
Student Religious Life is also a part of campus life at MDCC.  The college places a high value upon a wholesome religious environment for students and faculty.   Students are encouraged to attend the church of their choice, and religious programs are held regularly on campus.
