Industrial Electricity / Industrial Maintenance Technology
Course of Study
The Industrial Electricity/Industrial Maintenance Technology Program prepares individuals to install, operate, maintain and repair electrically energized systems such as residential, commercial, industrial electric wiring, and DC and AC motors, controls, and electrical distribution panels. Instruction in the use of test equipment is included.
Students may apply for and receive a certificate upon successful completion of one year. Students enrolling in this program must submit a composite score of 15 or higher on the Enhanced ACT. A minimum subscore of 15 is also required on the Mathematical Usage and Reading sections of the test.
Students who successfully complete this program of study will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Electricity/Industrial Maintenance Technology.
