MDCC gains 14 baseball signees

MOORHEAD – Mississippi Delta Community College welcomed 14 seniors to its 2017 baseball team during the NJCAA signing period.

“We are very excited to add these 14 young men to our program,” says Head Coach Michael Avalon.

“Coach Edmonson has a done tremendous job in the scouting and recruiting of these student-athletes. Not only is the largest group to join our program in January during the past 5 years, but we believe it is the most talented. We look forward to these young men representing our college, our program, themselves and their families during their time at Mississippi Delta Community College. Each of them understand the expectations and responsibilities that comes with being a student-athlete with Trojan Baseball.”

The Trojans open its 2016 season with four road games before playing at home on Feb. 20 against Southeast Iowa CC starting at noon.
