Scholars recognized during academic awards ceremony

MOORHEAD – Mississippi Delta Community College awarded students for their academic accomplishments during its annual Honors Day ceremony on the Moorhead campus. Students received recognition before their peers for departmental and achievement awards and those on the President’s, Dean’s and Honor’s list were also noted.  Honorees are pictured below by department.

(l. to r.) McKinnon Skeen, of Cleveland, and Jerry Johnson, of Starkville, were selected as the female and male Scholar Athlete Award winners. Skeen had the highest GPA out of all female athletes and Johnson held the highest GPA out of the male athletes.
