Associate Degree Nursing Graduates

Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) held its Health Sciences Pinning and Graduation Ceremony Thurs., May 11 at 10 a.m. in the J. T. Hall Coliseum on the Moorhead, Mississippi campus. The ceremony conferred degrees to graduates of the Associate Degree Nursing Program, the Dental Hygiene Program and the Radiologic Technology Program.

Thirty-six students completed the Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN). The ADN Program is designed to provide educational opportunities to qualified students for a rewarding career meeting the expanding healthcare needs of the community. The program prepares the individual to practice as a registered nurse, according to State of Mississippi Law. Graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree and are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RNĀ®) for licensure as registered nurses.

Students interested in enrolling in a healthcare program should register for orientation by visiting orientation.msdelta.edu. Orientation will be held in the J. T. Hall Coliseum at Mississippi Delta Community College.
