Linda ClarkMOORHEAD – Mississippi Delta Community College proudly announces Linda Clark as Dean of the Greenville Higher Education Center (GHEC).

Clark, a Greenville native, has worked at the GHEC for 16 years and previously served as assistant to the director. Under that capacity, she planned and scheduled events on the Greenville campus and helped with the financial aspect of the center.

For the first six years at the GHEC, she worked for Delta State University (DSU) until MDCC assumed responsibility of the site in 2007.

Clark earned her associate’s degree in 2007 from MDCC and her bachelor’s degree in 2012 from DSU. She received a Master’s of Science Degree in Project Management from Walden University and is currently working on her doctoral degree, specializing in leadership and organizational change.

“As I watched the foundation of the GHEC building being laid in 2000, I acquired a connection that I could not explain at the time,” says Clark.

“A higher educational degree became obtainable for me, and I have continued to work on my education. My goal has been to move up at MDCC and into this position. I look forward to working with our students, faculty, and staff, as well as the community.”
