Tuesday begins with our second annual Fresh Check Day located around and inside the union. Fresh Check Day, created by the Jordan Porco Foundation, aims to create an approachable atmosphere where college students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and connect with campus and community mental wellness resources. Interactive expo booths, free food and entertainment will be on site for all to participate. Extreme Game night will be from 8 to 10 that night in the union.

The Homecoming Assembly will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the J.T. Hall Coliseum. The Homecoming court will be presented, and the 2017 Homecoming Queen will be crowned. At noon, students with their campus ID’s will be able to eat at the Luau Cookout in the Trojan Grove.

Wednesday is also the day of the 5K Run/Walk at Jim Randall Stadium at 4 p.m. and the bonfire and fireworks at the men’s residence hall at 8 p.m.

The annual grilling competition will be Thursday starting at 8 a.m. Those participating in the competition need to turn their applications into the Office of Student Services by Monday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. Applications are available in the Office of Student Services and on the website at homecoming.msdelta.edu.

Friday night will be movie night for students in the union at 7 p.m.
