Burnadette McDonald was born on May 26, 1965 in New Orleans, LA. She attended the Madison County Public School System and graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School in 1983. Afterwards, she continued her education at Delta State University where she received her Bachelor of Education Degree and Master of Education Degree along with numerous athletic awards. Upon completion of her Master Degree in 1987, she worked at Mississippi State as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. It was only one year later she returned to Delta State University where she worked full time as assistant coach to the legendary Lloyd Clark. Serving in that capacity from 1990-1999, Coach McDonald help guide the Lady Statesman to several Gulf South Championships and several Regional Championships. She is now in her 13th year as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Mississippi Delta Community College where her teams have proven success both on and off the court including a State Title in 2005.
