Football & Track

While playing Football for the Trojans Coleman had 1,300 all purpose yards as a freshman and over 1,500 yards as a sophomore. He was named MVP for the Trojans both his freshman and sophomore year. In track, Pat won the State Championship in the 100 Meter Dash as a freshman and the 200 Meter Dash as a sophomore. He was also MVP in the Junior College All-Star Football game as a freshman.

Coleman played two years for Ole Miss as a receiver and a return specialist.

In 1990 Pat was drafted by Houston Oilers and ended up with the New England Patriots.
He played for Houston from 1991-1995 and then joined the Toronto Argonauts for one year before retiring from pro football.

He is employed by the Harrison County Department of Education in Houston as a Coordinator for At-Risk Students.
