The Mississippi Delta Community College Development Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, was established in 1989 to promote and support the educational performance of the college. The Development Foundation has qualified under United States Internal Revenue Department regulations for tax exempt status, thus making gifts deductible for income tax purposes.
Contributions, gifts, and bequests are solicited by the Foundation for the advancement of Mississippi Delta Community College as an institution of excellence.

The Robert W. Steinriede Faculty Development Fund
The Robert W. Steinriede Faculty Development Fund provides full-time faculty, part-time instructors, and staff the opportunity to develop projects that support MDCC's mission in areas including, but not limited to:
- Enhanced student learning and performance;
- Curriculum development;
- Innovative uses of technology;
- Development of instructional activities;
- Development of alternative fiscal resources;
- Professional development;
- Purchase of instructional equipment, technology; and
- Other projects that would not normally be funded by area or departmental budgets.
Bolivar Medical Center Foundation Scholarship
The Bolivar Medical Center Foundation has established a scholarship program for students who are enrolled or have been accepted into Mississippi Delta Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing Program. The scholarship will be presented to the MDCC Foundation annually as funds are available. The application process will be managed by MDCC’s Health Science Division Chair.
Payroll Deduction Authorization Form
This form is used by employees to make contributions to The Mississippi Delta Community College Development Foundation, Inc. to support the programs and/or scholarships. This form authorizes the MDCC Foundation to deduct from a College employee's pay.
Fundraising Approval Form
The fundraising approval form needs to be submitted one month before the first proposed date of any and all fundraising events. Your supervisor and the College President must approve the fundraiser before any arrangements are made. All fundraisers must have written approval each year. Once the proposal is approved by the College President, the MDCC Foundation will work with all departments and groups on the fundraiser.
The MDCC Development Foundation, Inc. awards scholarships through a competitive application process. Funding for foundation scholarships is generously provided by the many donors who support MDCC. Applications for the 2014-2015 school year will become available October 1, 2013. Applications are to be submitted online and the link can be found on this page after October 1.
