New Student Orientation Begins at MDCC for 2026-2027 Academic Year

MOORHEAD, Miss. (June 8, 2026) – Mississippi Delta Community College welcomed incoming students during its first New Student Orientation (NSO) session for the 2026-2027 academic year last week and is preparing for additional sessions throughout the summer.

On June 3, MDCC hosted a NSO session for students enrolled in both university transfer and career-technical programs on the Moorhead campus.

New Student Orientation provides first-time students with an opportunity to complete important enrollment steps and prepare for the start of the fall semester. During NSO, students can register for classes, submit financial aid paperwork, sign up for housing, meet with advisors and learn more about campus resources and student services.

Following a successful first session, MDCC looks forward to welcoming more incoming students at upcoming orientations scheduled for June 10 at the Greenville Higher Education Center (GHEC) and June 17 on the MDCC Greenwood campus.
