MDCC Spring Health Care Assistant Pinning Ceremony

Health Care Assistant Spring 2025 Graduates

MOORHEAD, Miss. (May 7, 2025) – Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) held its Spring 2025 Health Care Assistant Pinning Ceremony on Tues., May 6, in the Hafter Room on the MDCC Greenville campus. Graduates of the Health Care Assistant program are eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination.

Also known as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), health care assistants work very closely with clients. The assistant provides personal care such as bathing, feeding and dressing while also performing support functions such as taking vital signs, making beds, transporting clients and assisting clients with daily living activities.

Graduates from this program may work in a variety of settings including nursing homes, long term care facilities, personal care facilities, hospitals, home health agencies and private homes.
