MDCC Kicks Off Fall 2025 Semester with Move-In, Convocation, Classes, and Welcome Week Events

MOORHEAD, MS (August 6, 2025) – Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) is excited to welcome students back to campus as the Fall 2025 semester gets underway.

On Friday, August 15, students living on campus will begin moving into the residence halls. The day will also feature Student Convocation, a signature MDCC tradition that officially welcomes new students to the Trojan family. The event includes words of encouragement from campus leadership and offers students the opportunity to connect with the college community as they begin the new academic year.

Fall 2025 classes will officially begin on Monday, August 18, across all MDCC locations (Moorhead, Greenwood and Greenville). eLearning classes will begin on Monday, August 25. Students are encouraged to check their course schedules and reach out to advisors if needed.

For those who have not yet registered, Fall 2025 registration is open through August 19. Late Registration will be held August 18–19. During this time, students can still enroll in classes, adjust schedules, and receive last-minute assistance from academic advisors and enrollment staff.

In addition, Student Services will host “Welcome Week” activities from August 18–21, offering fun, engaging events to help students connect, get involved, and ease into campus life. These events are open to all MDCC students and will be held throughout the week.
