MOORHEAD, Miss. (May 21, 2026) – Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) has named Dannielle Taylor, Esq., dean of student services. Taylor began serving in the role in March 2026.

In her role, Taylor provides leadership and oversight for several key areas within Student Services, including student conduct, Title IX, campus police, student housing and residence life, and the Law Enforcement Training Academy. She also collaborates with campus departments to support student engagement, strategic planning, crisis response initiatives and student success efforts.

She is a member of the Tougaloo College National Alumni Association, a member of The Links, Incorporated and a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she has served locally, regionally and internationally.

“I am excited to join MDCC because I believe every student deserves access to a great education, a sense of belonging and the resources to succeed,” Taylor said. “It is a privilege to help students feel supported, connected and empowered to achieve their goals.”

MDCC President Dr. Steven Jones said Taylor has already made a positive impact on the college community.

“Dannielle Taylor has already proven herself to be an exceptional addition to the Mississippi Delta Community College family,” Jones said. “Her strong business acumen, legal expertise and ability to navigate complex matters related to student conduct and Title IX make her uniquely qualified to serve in this important role.

“Since joining our team, she has hit the ground running, taking time to connect with our students, listen to their concerns and build meaningful relationships across campus,” he continued. “Dannielle’s leadership, professionalism and student-centered approach will serve our college community well, and we are grateful to have her on our team.”
