Trojan CARES Grant
Mississippi Delta Community College is excited to award $500.00 to 1,000 students to assist with Fall 2020 college expenses! The college recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has made planning for college difficult for our students. These one-time grants are designed to help students pay for college and continue to pursue educational goals. Grants will be applied to student accounts on or after October 22, 2020.
Eligibility Requirements:
- New, Returning or Transfer Student
- Completed the Admissions Process
- Completed a 2020-2021 FAFSA and have those results on file in the Mississippi Delta Community College's Office of Financial Aid
- Must be continuously enrolled through 60% of the Fall 2020 semester and be taking a minimum of 12 credit hours
The Trojan CARES Grant is made possible by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Section 18004 (a)(3), awarded through the U.S. Department of Education, for grants to students for any component of a student’s cost of attendance, as defined under Section 472 of the Higher Education Act.
