RISE Grant

RISE with us at MDCC as you continue your educational journey! 

It’s been a challenging year, so MDCC wants to help our students by providing funds through our RISE (Resources to Inspire Student Education) Grant. We at MDCC care about you and your future, so we invite you to apply!
 
Grant funds are available for the Summer 2021 semester.  The Summer 2021 RISE Grant application will close June 30, 2021.

ELIGIBILITY

You can apply for RISE Grant (Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act) funds at MDCC if:

  • you have been affected by COVID-19 and/or have emergency costs such as tuition, food, housing, healthcare or childcare.
  • you have a 2020-2021 and/or 2021-2022 completed FAFSA on file at MDCC.
  • you have been admitted to MDCC. 

Students with exceptional need will be considered first. The number of students who can be awarded is subject to the availability of funds. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until allocated funds are distributed. 

ACCESSING THE APPLICATION

Applicants do not have to be currently enrolled, but they must be accepted to MDCC to access the MyDelta portal for the application. Inside MyDelta there is a link for the Summer 2021 application. The Summer 2021 RISE Grant application will close June 30, 2021.
